Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American actor and comedian is often referred to as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. She was born to Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actor after she moved to the United States. She is best known for her appearances in AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020). Apart from commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). Additionally, she was an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub was also cast as Squirrelgirl for Marvel Rising in 2018 following her casting in the pilot TV series for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and she were exiled from antisemitism by the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. The financial struggles of her family caused her to be a part of Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School, but dropped out following her sophomore year. She obtained a GED and then went on to earn an Associate of Arts in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
